We require payment by BACS transfer or PayPal prior to the booking. We can also take card payment on arrival. Please note no cash can be accepted.

Studio time and lighting equipment is included in the rental fee. If you require a photographer or technician please enquire.

At Meow Studios, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to the need for cancellation. In order to ensure the smooth operation of our studio and to cover the costs associated with reserving the studio exclusively for your use, we have implemented the following cancellation fee policy:

1. Cancellation Fee Amount:
The cancellation fee is equivalent to the full price of the studio hire. This fee is necessary to compensate for the resources and time allocated to your booking, which cannot be reallocated at short notice.

2. Application of Cancellation Fee:
The cancellation fee will only be applied to last-minute cancellations made up to 3 days before the scheduled session. Cancellations made prior to this timeframe will not incur any charges.

3. Purpose of the Cancellation Fee:
The fee is necessary to cover the costs associated with reserving the studio exclusively for your use during the agreed time. These costs include overhead expenses, equipment preparation, and potential loss of other bookings due to the reserved slot.

Students can hire both the Southside Garage and Causewayside Studio at a discounted rate. Please note that the minimum booking time is 4 hours.

We have made changes to our payment policy. Instead of taking a deposit, we now require full upfront payment to secure your booking. It is important to note that you have the flexibility to cancel your booking anytime up to 3 days before the scheduled session and receive a full refund.

If you are hiring one of our studios you can park in the private parking space located at 16 Blackwood Crescent, EH9 1QY. Please, let us know in advance if you would like to use it.
